7th March 2018 - Port of Dundee (Dundee Harbour)

 

Aerial pictures of the Port of Dundee which is on the east coast of Scotland.

 

During 2017 it was announced that Forth Ports were to do a huge investment of the port for oil and gas decommissioning.

17th February 2018 - Camelot Abandoned Theme Park

 

Aerial pictures of the Camelot Theme Park which is an abandoned theme park located in Lancashire, England just off the M6 motorway.

 

Closed in 2012 after a very difficult year due to a few big events which saw numbers drop below what was ecconomically viable it has layed untouch since. A few rides have been sold on.

20th January 2018 - Buchan Ness Lighthouse, Boddam

 

Aerial pictures of the Buchan Ness Lighthouse sited in the small town of Boddam just south of the town of Peterhead. Built in 1825 it stands at a height of 36 meters (118ft).

1st January 2018 - Balmedie Quarry, Belhelvie, Aberdeenshire

 

Aerial Pictures of Balmedie Quarry which opened in 1919 just outside the village of Belhelvie in Aberdeenshire which is 7 miles to the North of the city of Aberdeen. Covering an area of betweenn 6.41-6.58 hectares it produces a large volume and range of Bituminous mixtures.

4th December 2017 - Slains Castle, Aberdeenshire

 

Aerial Pictures of the remains of Slains Castle just north of Cruden Bay in Aberdeenshire which was originally build around 1597 by Earl of Erroll before going into ruin in 1925.

Aerial Pictures of the Neptune Staircase near Fort William is part of the Caledonian Canal.

 

Its Britain's longest staircase Lock lifting boats 20 meters through eight locks.

Aerial Picture of the Glenfinnan Viaduct sited in Inverness-shire. Scotalnd which is a rail bridge built in 1901 that spans 380 meters over the River Finnan.

Since completing the Ellon city centre pictures and getting good feedback I decided to expand further by doing the local industrial estates given that Brewdog is using the town as a location for one of its ground breaking factory's.
