Torry Battery and Aberdeen Harbour 2013

The Torry Battery is such a beautifal location in Aberdeen, not only do you get a fantastic view of Aberdeen harbour and the beach front but from this slight elivation you can see almost the whole of Aberdeen city! On the perfect sunny day you could spend hours here watching the platform supply vessels go by, the now famous dolphins and also take a walk to the light house just down the road. At night and its a red sunset then your in for an extra wee treat!!

At the time of writing this I've now had the DJI S800 Hexcopter with the Zenmuse gimbal for around two months and only now is it set it like the way I want it to be. It just floats around the sky nicely with very little shake and with pinpoint accuracy, these pictures are starting to show how good it could be. Yes they're not as good as someone in a real helicopter equiped with a Digital SLR but you have to admit that with more tinkering and a better understanding of photography it won't long until am not that far off.
