Woodend Hospital Fire - Westholme Building
Visit Two - The Aftermath (Part 2 of 2)

Westholme is a grade B-listed building on the grounds of Woodend Hospital in Aberdeen which is currently being treated as a crime scene following a major fire on Monday 13th April
2026.
Investigators believe a the fire was started on the first floor deliberately.
Physical barriers have been erected to surround the building with security now present to stop anyone entering the unstable building.
While originally a nurses home and later used as administrative offices the building was disused at the time of the fire.
It will be interesting to see how the building is dealt with but I can only presume it will be demolished, sooner rather than later.

Visit One - The Fire at First Light (Part 1 of 2)

Pictures at first light of the fire fighters fighting a major fire through the night at Woodend Hospitals Westholme building.
Still active, lots of smoke being emitted and from the pictures the building is completely gone.
